Resolved Question: Did the Infantile Spasm cause cerebral atrophy or It is the opposite way?

Hi all,

I really need some help out here. For a couple of reasons:
1- I am a young father of two and I want to live
2- I live in Africa...and my disease seems to confuse many doctors.
Well, I have been having some recurrent headache for the last five months.
I think it is important to mention that I was on treatment for Prostatitis..and yes, it was Levofloxacin.
Three weeks ago, my headache became unbearable and I insisted to my General Doctor to refer me to a Neurologist. There was a new development: a sharp pain in my right temporal lobe down to my neck, sometimes accompanied with pain in the eyes.
Because of availability of specialists, we only managed to get one on the phone.
He recommended an MRI with contrast.
The result came: Cerebral Atrophy.
It is worthwhile nothing that everything else was fine, the white matter, the Grey and anything else.
I have since been having those pains and was put on Neurontin while awaiting my next appointment with the neurologists at the end of Apr >> full story
